"I'm a trained chef. I have a real problem giving up control of my menu and my kitchen. That said, for my 50th birthday, I really wanted to try just that. And, it was perfect! Sunny and Mark made this night everything I wanted and more. We had a sit-down dinner for 16 people with a cocktail hour beforehand. To start the evening, Sunny mixed amazing, unique cocktails and Mark prepared delicious hors d'oeuvres. All of the food was clean, fresh and healthy. The Norwegian seafood crostini was incredible, as was the carrot soup and the lamb meatballs.
When we sat down for the salad, I didn't imagine that the food would be even more delicious. Before each course was served, Sunny poured and explained each wine she had chosen to pair with each course. The arugula salad with bresaola was delicious. Unbelievably so, this was outdone by Mark's rendition of Pasta Amatriciana. This dish transported the whole room to Italy. The sauce with the guanciale was the best I've ever had. The main course was chicken with fennel and blood orange sauce. I will be trying to replicate this dish on my own, but I cannot imagine it being as good as Mark's! This dish was so elegantly simple, yet so complex, that the whole table was in awe.

My wife and I participated in a cooking class given by Mark and Sunny and were so impressed that we asked them to do a cooking class for us and my family on my birthday at our home. We developed the menu and wine list together. It was a memorable experience for all of us; both in terms of what we learned about cooking from Mark and wine knowledge from Sunny, as well as the sheer enjoyment of the food and wine.. The “piece de resistance” was a German chocolate cake that Sunny baked and brought to the party. Sunny and Mark are wonderful people to have in your home as well as consummate professionals.

Sunny and Mark created a wonderful spread for my friend's baby shower. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the importance of top quality and friendly customer service. Everything from the deviled eggs to the quesadillas was absolutely delicious. The guacamole was so good, I asked for the recipe! My favorite part was Sunny's sparkling wine concoctions. We recently hosted a 50th birthday at our home. We are "foodies" and wanted delicious food that was also a bit creative and perhaps out of the ordinary realm of many caterers. We were unaware of Fork and Glass and having trouble finding someone who seemed to fit the bill. I called the culinary institute for some ideas and one of them led us to Fork and Glass. After opening their website, it seemed we had hit upon a winner and the toughest decision was going to be what to serve. After our intitial conversations, we were certain. We hosted a Spanish tapas party with extraordinary food and delicious birthday cocktails to boot! Working with Sunny and Mark was a delight from start to finish-they were professional, flexible,gracious, organized and needless to say, provided excellent food and drink. We are still receiving rave reviews from our friends and family. Now we just have to come up with another excuse to throw a party so we can enjoy more of their delicious cuisine.
