Our years of professional experience encompass vastly different cuisines. Combined with our international backgrounds (Sunny is Norwegian, having lived in France, Italy, and Greece with family in the UK, Spain and Norway. Mark is American but of Mexican heritage with a love and vast experience of Scandinavian, Japanese and Italian cuisines) we have the advantage of being able to offer you a wide variety of foods from all over the world. We can bring new flavors to your palate – and perhaps introduce you to some ingredients you may have never heard of before, and hopefully they will become your new favorites! Anything you can think of, from Greek to Moroccan, from Spanish to Vietnamese – we bring it to you in a very personalized way!
“GROUP & CORPORATE OFFERINGS”
We also offer team-building events for companies and corporations who would like to throw a little different type of party for their employees and colleagues. Instead of just meeting for those obligatory drinks and dinners, all of which have been done so many times before, why not incorporate some additional fun to your gathering? This offering will include a lesson in wine and food pairing and can be as detailed or superficial as you and your party desire. All parties will include a recipe booklet at the end with a list of wines being served, and where they can be purchased.

SUNNY GANDARA holds the Diploma from the WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust), a 2-year, internationally recognized professional certification in the wine industry. Sunny is a Certified Wine Educator and also has the Certified Specialist of Spirits title from the Society of Wine Educators. She is an Accredited Burgundy wine educator as well as a certified Spanish Wine Educator. In addition to her passion for wine and spirits, she is a graduate from the Institute of Culinary Education in NY. Sunny earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. Before entering into the food and wine world full time professionally, Sunny worked as a Marketing Executive in the music industry for nearly a decade, overseeing the international careers of many widely known artists.

MARK GANDARA is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America. He has over 10 years of Chef experience in 3-star restaurants in NYC as well as Dallas, Texas. Having worked with celebrity chefs across the country such as Marcus Samuelsson, Michael Romano (Danny Meyer’s group) and Stephen Pyles he has developed his own unique style as a result. His expertise includes a vast range of cuisines from Scandinavian and French, to Mexican and Italian. Mark is known for his remarkable plating skills, so your food is guaranteed to look amazing!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS/ USEFUL INFORMATION:
**General pricing:
Cost per person varies per menu, and subject to individual consultation.
Tax is always included in the agreed price.
20% gratuity will automatically be added to your party.
Food costs additional to each selection, minimum $750.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 14 days in advance to receive proper credit. If you wish to transfer your planned party to another person/party, this may be arranged with sufficient notification.
A deposit of 50% of the total event bill will be required upon registration and signature of the contract for your party. The remaining balance is due 5 (five) days before the event. Additional wines may be requested for your party. Cost of wine will be added as well as an additional service fee per person. Selection will be made by our wine professional, Sunny Gandara, which includes an additional tasting note for each wine which will be paired with your food.
Upon registering for a party with Fork and Glass, you will receive a “Lifetime Membership” to Sunny’s Wine Advice Club, where you are always welcome to email Sunny, free of charge, for advice on food and wine pairings, or any other questions you might have about wine. This way you will never stomp the next time you would like to serve a bottle or two to your friends! Please refer to the “Ask Sunny” section of our website.
